The Queens House & Bell Tower at the Tower of London won the Conservation Award at the London Region ceromany last night.

The Queen’s House and Bell Tower are two of the most significant buildings at the Tower of London, having played a key part in British history. The project works included roofing, masonry and timber frame repairs, informed by extensive building analysis and archaeological investigations. Specialist contractors sensitively unpicked decades of inappropriate works to ensure this corner of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is now conserved and continues to function as the Constable’s residence, as it has for hundreds of years.
